Labyrinth Searchlight plans on releasing just two more films for 2009, making a grand total of *gulp* THIRTY!
The other two films in the works are:
Sugar, an adaptation of the musical version of Some Like it Hot
In talks to star: Robert Downey, Jr, John Stamos, and Scarlett Johansson (or Mandy Moore or Reese Witherspoon)
and
The Voice Within, a film about growing up transsexual, gay, or being a crossdresser. (talks to star: Ryan Reynolds, David Henrie, Mark Wahlberg, Matt Damon, Moises Arias, Charlize Theron [not likely], Keri Russell [not likely], and more)
One film is a comedy where against gets the girl by doing whatever he can to get it.
The other is about being made fun of for the choices one makes, and ultimately has a better message.
